Could LeBron Be Another Antonio Gates or Tony Gonzalez?
With the NBA players and owners looking like they are going to be in this lockout for a while many NBA players are taking their talents elsewhere, whether it is playing basketball in other countries or in LeBron’s case he is trying to make his way into the NFL.
I am not a LeBron fan in the basketball sense mainly because he had been donned a KING when he has done nothing to be close to the real King of the NBA like Jordan was. In the NFL, well that could be a different story I would probably root for him. The NFL is my baby, I love everything football so I would root for him regardless but I really think he would do good playing in the NFL as a tight end. Two of the best tight ends to ever play the game were basketball stars and had never played football in college and went on to have incredible careers in the NFL. Those two players being Antonio Gates of the San Diego Chargers and the Atlanta Falcons Tony Gonzalez.
Just because Gates and Gonzalez did it is the only reason I think LeBron can do it, I really think he is athletic enough and strong enough to do it. I also think he would have a better chance to be great without having all the pressure on him that he does in the NBA by being crowned a KING his first year in the NBA and then having the “Dream Team” although most of it is brought on by himself I still feel like that pressure gets to him. He would have no pressure in the NFL because most people will probably think it will be a fluke and over after a couple months.
If LeBron really gets in the NFL and works and forgets about the NBA and everything that came along with it he can be a beast out there on the field. He is still young and he could be a big target for any QB and has the speed to be a downfield threat as a tight end.
Watch out for the team that takes the chance on him. It could pay real dividends for that team and I really believe it will.
What do you guys think, will he make it in the NFL and do you think he will be any good?
The Texas Knuckleheads have made their picks!! My 2011 NFL Fantasy Team!!

I’m BAAAAAAACCCCCCCKKKKK!!!!
Hey what’s up everybody?
Well I am back and I am ready to talk sports again!!!! I have been gone for a while due to certain things going on but now I am back and my brain is overloaded with stuff to talk about in the sports world.
The basketball playoffs are starting and my Dallas Mavericks are in although that doesn’t mean much since they are there every year and just give us a big let down, but hey maybe it will be different this year. Baseball season is underway and my Texas Rangers are off to an excellent start!!! It really sucks that Josh Hamilton broke his arm and will be out about two months but all the David Murphy fans should be thrilled since he is in the starting lineup now!! My Dallas Stars missed the playoffs and fired their coach so yeah there is a lot of stuff to talk about right now and that’s just from my part of the sports world!!!!
Hopefully I will be on here daily but if not I will definitely be on here at least three or four times a week.
Oh I have to give a shout out to all my boys that had fights this past weekend.
Congratulations to Justin Patterson for winning his debut MMA match in Louisiana this past Friday, 1st round KO!!! My boy Victor Reyna also had a bad ass fight but fell short, it’s all good though because he is a beast and will be back to dominating people soon!!!
Also congrats to my boys who won in the recent XKO 10 in Arlington, Texas!!!
Alex Russ is till undefeated in his professional MMA career and so is J.J. Holmes!!!! Douglas Frey had a controversial loss due to a bullshit call, and I am not saying it’s a bullshit call because he is a friend!! There is video footage of the bullshit call and it needs to be dealt with!!! Anyways in reality my boy Dougie Fresh won that fight and the other guy quit!!! Mike Sierra lost on Saturday also but he’s a warrior and will back in the cage soon kicking ass!!!
Alright well I just wanted to let everyone know I am back on the scene and we will be talking sports!!!!
Peace out!!!
